About me

Hello. I'm Amanda, thanks for having a look at what I have designed and what I love to design.

I've been working as a graphic designer since 1997.

I aim to create effective, articulate graphic design to make you and your business sparkle and stand out from the crowd.

To give a brief history of my career so far, I studied graphic design for 3 years at KIAD (Kent Institute of Art and Design) in Maidstone, achieving both an HND and BA (Hons) Degree. After graduating, I gained some initial work experience at the London design agencies Coley Porter Bell, Planet and Design Bridge. I then got a job as a graphic designer at Rocket Design Consultants in London where I worked for 9 years as part of a close team. After having my 2 girls, I became a freelance graphic designer in 2007 and have since worked for a number of clients both locally and nationally.

Throughout my career, I have been privileged to work on a wide variety of design work. My initial experience whist working for Rocket was in packaging design, particularly designing own brand packaging for Tesco. I have now worked on on some amazing and very different projects, creating beautiful logos, developing visual brand identity to create strong brands, working on print formats such as business cards, banners, flyer, posters, brochures, adverts, invitations, labels, signage and I work on any print format required. I have also design for online through icons and graphics for social media and websites, as looking amazing on-line is vital for your business to stand out. I can also create artwork and retouch and manipulate images.

I am always open to trying something new, that's what creative graphic design is all about.

Other than being a graphic designer, I am a mum to my two beautiful girls (and a dog) as well as a wife, cook, cleaner, launderette, gardener, taxi service and dog walker. I live and work in Eastbourne, East Sussex and I do like to design beside the seaside.
